Aunt Pierrette I'm going to miss you so much. You were more like my older sister than my aunt. You were there for all of us when we lost mom, your sister.
And you've been there since for all of us. You loved our mom, and I know you know mom loved you.
You were a beautiful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Any of us could call you and you would always have time for us and always with loving words. I for one don't know who I can turn to now. Your boys Robert, Jacques and Sylvain and their families will miss you. Uncle Andre you had to let your best friend go. Just remember she will always be walking beside you, always be in your heart, She is in heaven with your beautiful little girl, your little angel Manon.
I always looked forward to visiting you every year when I come home. Sean is going to miss her so
much too. I know he cried every time he saw you, but that was because you reminded him of mom, he saw his grandma in you.You were his connection to grandma.
Since you passed, I sit here trying to concentrate on what I'm doing and then I find myself drifting off, remembering our times together. Times you visited at the camp site; times we had lunch together when I was home; our two trips to Uncle Edgar's when he lived near Huntsville. I wish I could be there to give you a hug and to feel your hug one last time; to hear your laughter one last time. You will always be in my heart Aunt Pierrette. I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER AND ALWAYS.
