C'est avec une grande tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de Mme Francine Plourde (née Talbot), décédée le 2 août 2025, à l'âge de 73 ans.

Fille de feu Rosaire et de feu Valérie (née Boutin) Talbot.

Épouse bien-aimée de Gaëtan Plourde.

Chère mère de Julie Plourde (Scott Cavers) et Joëlle Plourde (Jérôme Besner).

Fière grand-mère de Alèxe et Sasha Cavers, Maxime, Gabrielle et Raphaël Besner.

Sœur de feu Roméo (Thérèse), feue Annette (André), Sylviane (Larry), feue Thérèse (Doug), Pauline (Flo), feu Roland (Janine), feue Rita, feu Marcel, Denise (Normand), Ginette (Lewis), feue Carmen (Ernie), Alain (Francine), Carole, Françoise (Allan) et Donald

Belle-sœur de Marthe (Jean-Louis) et prédécédée par plusieurs beaux-frères et belles-soeurs.  

Francine manquera beaucoup à ses neveux, nièces, cousins et cousines ainsi qu'à ses nombreux ami(e)s.

La famille et les amis sont priés de se réunir au Salon Funéraire Laurent Hill, 874, rue Notre Dame, Embrun (Ontario) K0A 1W0, (613) 443-3286 le samedi 23 août 2025 de 9h30 à 11h00, Une cérémonie religieuse sera célébrée dans la chapelle à 11h00.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Francine Plourde (née Talbot), who passed away on August 2, 2025, at the age of 73.

Daughter of the late Rosaire and Valérie (née Boutin) Talbot.

Beloved wife of Gaëtan Plourde.

Dear mother of Julie Plourde (Scott Cavers) and Joëlle Plourde (Jérôme Besner).

Proud grandmother of Alèxe and Sasha Cavers, Maxime, Gabrielle and Raphaël Besner.

Sister-in-law of Marthe (Jean-Louis) and predeceased by many brothers and sisters-in-law.

Francine will be sadly missed by her nephews, nieces, cousins, and many friends.

Family and friends are asked to gather at the Laurent Hill Funeral Home, 874 Notre Dame Street, Embrun, Ontario K0A 1W0, (613) 443-3286 on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A religious ceremony will be held in the chapel at 11:00 a.m.

Donations to The Ottawa Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society may be made in lieu of a memorial.
