Nécrologie de Léopold "Paulo" Bruyère

C’est avec une grande tristesse que nous vous annonçons le décès de M. Léopold “Paulo” Bruyère, décédé le 8 août 2025, à l'âge de 92 ans.

Époux bien-aimé de Denise Bruyère (née Roy).

Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants; Marc Bruyère, Luc Bruyère (Jeanne) et Johanne Bruyère, ses petits-enfants; Chantal Lacroix (Mathieu), Martin Gauthier (Melody) et Éric Bruyère (Mylène), ses arrière-petits-enfants; Mikella, Cedrik et Maksim Lacroix, Élivia Bruyère, et Nova Léopold Gauthier, son beau-frère; Marcel Roy (Sylviane), ainsi que ses neveux, nièces, cousins, cousines, membres de famille et plusieurs ami(e)s.

Prédécédé par ses parents Pierre C. et Victoria (née Potvin) Bruyère, ses frères et sœurs; André, Gérard, Cécile, Raymond, Simone, Maurice, Armand, Edna, Noëlla et Pauline.

La famille tient à remercier le personnel du Pavillon pour leur compassion et leurs soins.

La famille et les amis sont invités à se rassembler à l’église St-Jacques d’Embrun, le samedi 6 septembre 2025, de 10h à 11h. Un service religieux sera célébré à 11h. Suivi par l’inhumation au cimetière St-Jacques.

Beloved husband of Denise Bruyère (née Roy).

Loving father of Marc Bruyère, Luc Bruyère (Jeanne) and Johanne Bruyère.

Cherished grandfather of Chantal Lacroix (Mathieu), Martin Gauthier (Melody), and Éric Bruyère (Mylène).

Adored great-grandfather of Mikella, Cedrik and Maksim Lacroix, Élivia Bruyère, and Nova Léopold Gauthier.

Dear brother-in-law of Marcel Roy (Sylviane).

Paulo will be dearly missed by his nephews, nieces, cousins and by his many friends.

Predeceased by his parents Pierre C. and Victoria (née Potvin) Bruyère, and by his siblings André, Gérard, Cécile, Raymond, Simone, Maurice, Armand, Edna, Noëlla and Pauline.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Pavillon for their compassion and care.

Family and friends are invited to gather at St-Jacques Church in Embrun on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. A religious service will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Followed by an interment at St-Jacques Cemetery.

Donations to The Ottawa Hospital Foundation or to the Montfort Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
