C’est avec une grande tristesse que nous vous annonçons le décès de M. Léo Lavergne, le vendredi 28 août 2026 à l’âge de 86 ans.

Fils de feu Albert Lavergne et de feu Florida Lavergne (née Clairoux).

Époux bien aimé de feu Michelle Lavergne (née Ducharme).

Fier père de Manon Donnelly (Denis), Pierrette Lawson (David) et feu Daniel Lavergne; grand-père de Jessica Donnelly (Nicolas Ouellette), Shannon (Jess), Victoria Lawson (Théo Christakos); arrière-grand-père de Jake, Mia et Luka.

Cher frère de Leona Gauthier (feu Claude), Diana Sabourin (feu Georges) et feu Anita Cleroux (feu Noé); et beau-frère de Paule Lamarche (Marcel).

Il laisse dans le deuil son amie spéciale Madeleine Longtin; et ses plusieurs neveux, nièce et cher ami(e)s.

La famille tient à remercier chaleureusement son médecin Dr. Brunet; son médecin de longue date Dr. Bhagirath; et tout le personnel à Santé à domicile Ontario, du Pavillon à Embrun, et societe alzheimer programme de jour pour adultes à Casselman pour les excellents soins prodigués et leur précieux accompagnement de Léo.

La famille et les amis sont invités à se rassembler au Salon Funéraires Laurent Hill, 874, rue Notre Dame, Embrun (Ontario) K0A 1W0 le mardi 8 septembre 2026 de 10h00 à 11h30. Un service religieux sera célébré dans la chapelle le mardi 8 septembre 2026 à 11h30, suivi par un goûter.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Léo Lavergne on Friday, August 28, 2026, at the age of 86.

Son of the late Albert Lavergne and the late Florida Lavergne (née Clairoux).

Beloved husband of the late Michelle Lavergne (née Ducharme).

Proud father of Manon Donnelly (Denis), Pierrette Lawson (David) and the late Daniel Lavergne; grandfather of Jessica Donnelly (Nicolas Ouellette), Shannon (Jess) and Victoria Lawson (Théo Christakos); great-grandfather of Jake, Mia and Luka.

Dear brother of Leona Gauthier (late Claude), and Diana Sabourin (late Georges) and the late Anita Cleroux (late Noé); and brother-in-law of Paule Lamarche (Marcel).

He leaves to mourn his special friend Madeleine Longtin; and his many nephews, nieces and dear friends.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to his physician Dr. Brunet; his longtime physician Dr. Bhagirath; and all the staff at Ontario Health at Home, the Pavilion in Embrun, and the Alzheimer Society Adult Day Program in Casselman for the excellent care and invaluable support provided to Léo.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the Laurent Hill Funeral Home, 874 Notre Dame Street, Embrun, Ontario K0A 1W0, on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at 11:30 a.m., followed by refreshments.
