BERGERON, Gaëtan Bernard - Passed peacefully at home with family by his side on Saturday, September 7, 2013, at age 88. Predeceased by his parents Siméon Bergeron and Germaine Clément. Beloved husband of Mary Arlene Edwards. Loving father of Robert (Brenda Bruce), Raynald (Cindy Beaudoin), Roger, Darlene (Jean-Marc Lapointe), Daryl (Christine Viau), Debbie-Ann (Jean-Philip Mathieu) and the late Gaëtanne Nadon and late Daniel (Christine Galarneau). Proud Grandpa to Daniel, Marcel, Derek, Michel, Julie, Vanessa, Angela, Kelly,Ashley, Melanie, Gaitan, Shawn, Chantal, Stéphane, Briana, Anabelle and 11 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his brothers and sister Marcel (late Germaine Berniquez), Jean-Paul (Johanna Hart) and Jacqueline (Joseph Pastien). He also leaves behind many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. The visitations will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., Friday, October 4 and from 9 to 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 5 at the Lafleur Funeral Home & Chapel, 874 Notre-Dame Street, Embrun, ON (613) 443-3286. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 5, 2013 at the Saint-Laurent Church, 5958 Piperville Street, Carlsbad Springs, ON. The family wishes to thank Dr. Michel Beaulieu and all the staff from the CCAC and We Care Home Health Services for the excellent care and prayers received over the last few months. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse bien aimée Mary Arlene Edwards, ses enfants Robert (Brenda Bruce), Raynald (Cindy Beaudoin), Roger, Darlene (Jean-Marc Lapointe), Daryl (Christine Viau), Debbie-Ann (Jean-Philip Mathieu) et de feu Gaëtanne Nadon et feu Daniel (Christine Galarneau), ses petits-enfants Daniel, Marcel, Derek, Michel, Julie, Vanessa, Angela, Kelly,Ashley, Melanie, Gaitan, Shawn, Chantal, Stéphane, Briana, Anabelle et 11 arri&egravere-petits-enfants. Il fut prédécédé par ses fr&egraveres et sa soeur Marcel (feu Germaine Berniquez), Jean-Paul (Johanna Hart) et Jacqueline (Joseph Pastien). Il laisse également plusieurs beaux-fr&egraveres, belles-soeurs, neveux, ni&egraveces, cousins, cousines et amis. Les visites auront lieu de 14h é 16h et de 19h é 21h le vendredi 4 octobre ainsi que de 9h é 10h30, le samedi 5 octobre é la Maison funéraille & chapelle Lafleur, 874 rue Notre-Dame, Embrun, ON. Le service religieu suivra é 11h le samedi 5 octobre 2013 en l'église Saint-Laurent, 5958 rue Piperville é Carlsbad Springs, ON.
