It is with great sadness that Jackie passed away on August 15,2020 at the age of 92. Daughter of the late Lorenzo Bergevin and the late Fleur-Ange Bélisle. Predeceased by her husband Gerald Emburg. Loving mother of Lois (David Faure), Joanne (late Socrates Sacoutis) and Floyd Emburg. Jackie was the much-loved grandma of Dyanna (Todd Legare) and Gus (Melissa Francoeur); and dear great grandma of Bennett and Eve Legare and Jaxson Sacoutis. Dear sister to Françoise, Thérèse (Robert Barsalou), Marcelle (John Cassidy) and predeceased by Fleurette and André. Will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends in the Moose Creek Catholic Women's League. Jackie was a person of many interests and talents. She had a love for gardening and went on to win two trophies for her horticulture presented by Eaton’s. She played bridge for many years, had a passion for quilting and sewing, did Meals on Wheels and volunteered tirelessly for her church with the Catholic Women’s League in Moose Creek for 70 years. Jackie also loved to travel and spend time in winter with her sisters in Florida as well as travelling throughout Europe and Canada. The family wish to thank Dr. Rossback, Christie Thomson, and all staff of the Maxville Manor for their kindness and devotion in caring for our mother during her stay and in particular the outstanding compassion over the last few months. Due to COVID restrictions, there will be a funeral service at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of the Angels Church, Moose Creek or to the Maxville Manor Foundation.
