Nécrologie de Steffen Gondermann

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Mr. Steffen Gondermann, who passed away on February 21, 2024, at the age of 52.

Loving father of Sabrina and devoted grandpa to Chloe. Beloved son of Wilfried and Heidi. Cherished brother of Sandra (Douglas), Thorsten (Jennifer) and Kristina (Justin). Treasured Uncle Cookie to Emma, Elena and Memphis. Best friend of Kevin B.

Steffen will be remembered as a big man with an even bigger heart. At a young age, he found his passion for mechanics. If he wasn’t at work, working on heavy machinery, he was fixing a friend’s car or teaching the trade to his “kids”. He loved to go fishing, spending time at the cottage with family and sharing his love of food.

Steffen will be missed immensely by his family in Germany! He will also be deeply missed by Megan, Marcia, Asher, his work family and many friends.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.
